Produce and Vendor Focused
Are you a home cook or food enthusiast looking for the latest seasonal produce? These markets are the perfect destination to meet multiple vendors, with a location focused on serving hungry guests. Although produce should be expected to vary through the seasons, there are plenty of hidden gems to enjoy
Garden Grove Certified Farmer’s Market
- Location: 12931 Main St Garden Grove, CA 92865
- Hours: Sunday 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM
This market features plenty of live music and small businesses to accompany the vendors who line the pavement. Vendors are extremely friendly to guests and feature plenty of seasonal produce to pick from. I always look forward to their abundance of citrus.

Pomona Certified Farmer’s Market
- Location: Pearl St & Garey Ave Pomona, CA 91767
- Hours: Saturday 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM
Average reviews on Yelp are similar to Melissa Y’s who stated, “I use to come to this Farmers Market with my mom when I was a little kid. It brings me lots of great memories. I love walking around and smelling the fresh strawberries and oranges. Today I stocked up on broccoli, carrots, kale, tomatoes, berries and bread.
The vendors are all very helpful and informative about their produce. It’s nice to be able to talk about the produce from the same person who grew and harvested your fruits and vegetables.
My son loves that they have little bite sized samples of a lot of the peaches, plums and nectarines. I really enjoy coming to this farmers market and I try to make it a weekly routine to get the best produce for my family.”
- Location: 4102 S University Dr Pomona, CA 91768
- Hours: Sunday-Saturday 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM
Last but not least, the Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store is a personal favorite of mine! Although I may be biased as a student, this market delivers lines of products harvested and developed straight from the university. Keep up with their year round events, including their infamous pumpkin patch and festival!
