The Morning Out

Are you looking for a morning-filled itinerary? These markets are located nearby small and local restaurants, boutiques and community services full of ambiance. With a variety of fresh produce and vendors available, take a stop to fill up on groceries for the week, then stop by a coffee shop for breakfast.

Claremont Farmer’s Market

  • Location: 207 Harvard Ave Clarement CA 91711
  • Hours: Sunday 8:00 AM- 1:00 PM

This market is a personal favorite of mine. There are multiple vendors providing loads of colorful produce and fresh herbs. Visitors can also find fresh eggs and butchered meats, plus more. Afterward, enjoy brunch or pick up bread from a local bakery.

Torrance City Farmer’s Market

This market cultivates over 400 reviews on yelp with a year-round selection of California grown produce, nuts, eggs and fresh cut flowers. Leave with a full cart! Visitors will only need minimal essentials plus can bring home lunch for the day.

Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market

  • Location: 303 W Palm Ave Orange, CA 92866
  • Hours: Saturday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

On Yelp, Jason G. stated, “Quality farmers market, steady supply of locally farmed vegetables and fruits, decently priced health conscious food, especially when you compare it to the in store options, and can appreciate the personable experience of buying direct from the farmers. Closes around 12, accepts california EBT, which is a pretty cool thing for those wanting to eat healthy on a budget. Also has grass fed free ranged meats for sale, which always has a line,” followed by a solid five stars.
