The state of California is an agricultural powerhouse, leading the nation in agricultural cash receipts. This allows residents higher access to local and fresh products from vendors in supermarkets, farmer’s markets and directly from the farm. Among high agricultural outputs, California hosts over 650 certified farmer’s markets across the state.
My holy grail is a complete list of every certified farmer’s market in California. The state-wide list is released by the California Department of Food and Agriculture and includes its location, hours and point of contact.
As an indecisive person, hundreds of options are overwhelming to select from. With such an abundance of choices, what market is suitable for my particular need?
