Here’s what I ate

  • 7-11
    • Oddly enough, 7-11 was the perfect one-stop shop when ever I needed a quick lunch or pick-me up. Their hand rolls, egg sandwiches and various salty chips make the best picnic.
  • Sky Lounge
    • This rooftop bar is highly spoken of and offers a vareity of elaborate drinks, hearty entrees and the creamiest mango crème brulée.
  • Kokonuts Shaved Ice
    • Better eat this shaved ice quick! This snack shop is filled with the sweetest menu, consisting mostly of ice cream, shaved ice and milk shakes. Fun fact: Obama’s order is cherry & lemon lime
  • Maleko Coffee and Pastries
    • Located close to Waikiki, my visit to this vintage coffee shop is known for their:
      • Malasada
      • Espresso
      • Pain au chocolat
      • Turnovers
      • Bubble tea
    • Although I ordered a simple vanilla drip coffee and a variety of pastries, it filled my early morning breakfast cravings
  • Island Vintage Coffee
    • Island Vintage Coffee in the North Shore is the perfect stop for coffee lovers since 1996. Their food and drink menu has endless options for all customers!
  • No7 Poke Food Truck
    • How could I visit Hawaii and no enjoy fresh, delicious poke? No7 Japanese Food Truck had the most tender, sweet, and spicy tuna and ahi poke, accompanied with rice, seaweed and mixed greens.
  • Leonards Hot Malasada
    • Lastly, Leonards via the Malasadamobile™ was the prime opprotunity for me to try a hot malasada, a yeast Portuguese doughnut filled with custard or covered with cinnamon and sugar.
